Mary M. Spears 85 of Ormond Beach FL passed away December 20 2010 at Hospice of Volusia /
Flagler Port Orange FL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Dec. 28th at 9:00 am at Holy Cross Orthodox Church 375 Fleming Ave. Ormond Beach with visitation on Monday Dec. 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Mary was born October 4 1925 in New Brunswick NJ and relocated to Volusia County in 1959 from Niagara Falls NY. She was a Physician's Assistant/Office Manager a parishioner at Holy Cross Orthodox Church she received her Associate's in Business in New Brunswick NJ was an avid reader a member of the book of the month club loved to cook sew and volunteer with several organizations. Mary is survived by her sons Roger Spears Jr. and his wife Cooki Orlando FL and George A. Spears and his wife Brieanne Pacific Grove CA; by daughters Christine Spears Niagara Falls NY and Helen Isenberg Ormond Beach; by sisters Angelina Columbis Franklin Park NJ and Georgia Mahon N.B. NJ; many nieces and nephews; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Spears Sr.; brothers Gus of Ormond Beach FL Gabe of Tennessee Alex of N.B. NJ and sister Bessie of N.B. NJ.
