It is with our deepest sorrow, the Simek Family announces the passing of our dear sister Mary.  Mary died peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with a brain tumor on March  29, 2024.  Her sister Virginia and niece Veronica Yopp were by her side as she joined Our Lord in Heaven.

Born on March 10, 1956, Mary was a long time resident of Valley Stream, NY, moving to Clermont, FL and more recently Port Orange, FL.

Mary was one of thirteen children, Thomas (Patricia), Ann (Vinny), Irene (Paul), Peggy (Bob), Virginia (Rich), Joe, Theresa, Jeanne (Kevin) and Eileen.  She is pre-deceased by her parents, Margaret and Henry, brothers Henry, John and dear infant sister Veronica.

She was a fun loving sister, Aunt to 26 nieces and nephews as well as a Great Aunt to 43 nieces and nephews as well as Godmother to niece Tracey Calhoun.

Mary will always be greatly loved and missed.  She will be remembered in our hearts forever.
