Memorial services for Mary L. Shelton of Daytona Beach who departed her life peacefully at home on Nov. 11 2006 will be held on Fri. Nov. 17 2006 at 6 p.m. at the Daytona Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. She was born in Lake Park GA to the late David and Leola Boston on Aug. 6 1915 and then moved to Daytona Beach where she lived for 63 years. She worked for the Chapman Root family for over 25 years. She is survived by her sons Ralph (Luberta) Shelton of Daytona Beach Leon Shelton and Harry (Stephanie) Shelton both of Syracuse NY and George Shelton also of Daytona Beach; daughters Catherine Shelton very devoted of Daytona Beach Ruth Williams Eugenia McNeil Matti Hightower and Cynthia (Dwight) Brown all of Syracuse NY; niece Leola (Bernard) Carter of Edgewater 15 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren her very dear friend Rose Rivers and a host of many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years Eugene; her daughter Mary Shelton Beauford and stepson Edward Shelton.
