Mary W. Stevenson, 95, passed away peacefully at home on March, 30th. She was born to Julius and Margaret Wolff in Duluth, Minnesota in 1921. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana which is where she met her future husband, C. Frank Stevenson, who was attending the University of Notre Dame du lac. Pinky and her family resided in Illinois until their move to Daytona Beach in 1958. She was an active member in her new community and an avid golfer, a passion she would enjoy for 73 years. Pinky was a member of Oceanside Country Club for 27 years, the Halifax River Yacht Club, and spent 50 years as a member of the Council for Catholic Women. Mary was predeceased by Frank, her husband of 59 years, and leaves behind her four daughters; Margaret Stevenson of Durango, CO., Mary Tate (John) of Panama City, Michele Hegenwald ( Frank), Durango, CO., and Elizabeth Cable (George) of Ft. Lauderdale. Others left behind to Cherish Mary's memory include her two grandchildren, Melanie Baldwin, Durango, CO. and James Baldwin (Christine), of Ft. Lauderdale and two great-grandchildren, Bryan S. Baldwin and Emily Baldwin, both of Ft. Lauderdale. A Funeral Mass will be held for Mary at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach on Saturday, April 16th beginning at 11:00 a.m.
