Novak, Mary Therese Malloy (Age 71) On Monday, April 28, 2014, she passed on to God's loving care. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years James; her daughters Elizabeth, Jennifer, and Laura; son Jay; grandchildren Matthew, Scott, Taylor, Zack, Alexis, Mia, Summer and Piper; sister Kathleen and brothers Gerry and Chris. She was born in Scranton, PA to James and Mary Malloy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy and Tommy. She earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Dunbarton College.
The viewings will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 from 2 - 4 p.m. or 7 -9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2500 Maryland 108, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Mary's memory at 301 Memorial Medical Center Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 or The American Cancer Society.
