Mary "Caroline" Mathey , 99, of Palm Coast, passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 at her residence in Palm Coast.  A Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.  A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Monday June 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. Caroline was born on January 16, 1919 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Jean and Mary Forsberg.  She retired as a Purchasing Agent for the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.  She moved to the Palm Coast area in 1984. Survivors include her three children, Joanne Smith of Palm Coast, Richard Mathey of Temecula, CA, Suzanne (Jim) Lynch and a beloved niece, Deborah Murphy of Panama City, FL; Eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard Mathey and her three siblings. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Vitas Hospice Healthcare, 4 Old Kings Road, Suite B, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
