Mary Ann (Lucantonio) King passed away peacefully on June 14, 2015. Mary was born in Lynn, Massachusetts to Geremia & Annunziata Lucantonio on May 6, 1930.
Mary attended Salem State College to study nursing and graduated as a registered nurse at the age of 20. Mary was married to Joseph King and she put her career on hold to raise six children. Mary, Joe and the kids moved to Florida in 1972. Mary and Joe divorced, but always came together for family functions. Mary returned to work at a registered nurse and was served as Director of Nursing at area nursing homes and Assistant Director of Nursing at Good Samaritan Center in Daytona Beach, where she retired at age 65.
Mary is predeceased by a son, Stephen King (2005), and her ex-husband Joe King (2000). Mary is survived by five children, John King of Bangkok, Thailand, Linda Baugher (Russell) of Edgewater, FL, Lisa McEvoy (Michael) of Port Orange, FL, Scott King (Kate) of Daytona Beach, FL and Leslie King of Ormond Beach, FL. She is also survived by her brother Walter Lucantonio (Elizabeth) of Norfolk, VA, and her sister Clara Moore (John) of Daytona Beach, FL, 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many relatives in Italy.
