Mary-Lee Banek

Mary-Lee Krumm Banek, 73, of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away from cancer on October 28, 2018.  A visitation will be held in her honor at Lohman's Funeral Home in Ormond Beach on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM, with a celebration of life to follow at 11:00 AM.
Mary-Lee was born in Miami, Florida and attended Hialeah High School and graduated in 1963.  She then attended Florida State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

Mary-Lee will be remembered for teaching students at Meadowlane Elementary and Palm Lakes Elementary schools in Hialeah, Florida for more than 30 years where she enriched the lives of thousands of students.
Mary-Lee was preceded by her parents, Frederick and Emily Krumm, and husband James Banek. She is survived by son Michael (Amanda), three grandchildren Brady, Riley, and Delaney, brother and sister in law Fred and Janice Krumm, niece Debra Myers (Matthew) and their two children.
