Mary Catherine "Kitty" Block Lantz 81 passed away peacefully on Saturday January 10. 2009 at The Sandalwood Nursing Center in Daytona Beach FL. Born in Pittsburgh PA on March 24 1927 to David and Nora Marie Block Mary was the oldest of five siblings who lived in Pittsburgh most of her life until retiring to Port Orange FL. She was a retired real estate agent an avid bridge player and loved working the daily crossword puzzles. She was very social and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Ralph W. Lantz of Port Orange FL one son Gary David Lantz (Colleen) of Washington PA one daughter Kathleen Louise (Lantz) Tavenner (Michael) of Port Orange FL; her three grandchildren; Benjamin R. Lantz and Elizabeth Cecilia Lantz both of Washington PA Jordan Michael Tavenner of Cambridge MA and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her younger four brothers and sisters.
