Obituary

Mary Jordan, 88, of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday June 10, 2021. Mary resided in her beloved beach town for more than 40 years. Mary was born in Syracuse, NY to Julia and Clement Terino, along with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Her husband of 56 years, Thomas Edward Jordan, Sr. ( US Army Veteran) , her beloved children Thomas Jr. and Helen , and great-grandson Jordan preceded her in death, along with her siblings Vincent Terino (lost in the Korean conf l ict) , Anthony Terino (USAF Veteran) , Michael Terino and Clement Terino , Jr (Army National Guard veteran) . Mary is survived by her Daughter Tracy Rigo of North Carolina, siblings Carm ine L a Fleur and Fran k Terino of Syracuse, NY; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 30 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews . Above all Mary enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family, but also enjoyed fixing up old homes and furniture making something old and worn out beautiful again. In recent years she enjoyed visiting with family, friends, and neighbors, always commenting on how kind they all were. An informal celebration of Mary's life will be held on S un day, June 27, 2021 from 4 pm - 6 pm at the south clubhouse of Colonial Colony South at 1275 Beville Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32119. Another Celebration of Mary's life will be arranged in her hometown of Syracuse , NY at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers , donations in Mary's name can be made to t he Dis abled Veterans www.dav.org .
