Mary Ann Lopez Jankowski
Mary Ann Jankowski 71 of Palm Coast passed away February 10 2009 at Stuart Meyer Hospice. A memorial service was held Thursday at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
Mary Ann was born December 9 1937 to Mr. Alpha Shoemaker in Gary. IN. She was a bus driver for the school system for the majority of her life and moved to Florida in 2006 from Lake Station IN. Mary Ann enjoyed music as a gifted pianist all kinds of outdoor life (especially birds deer and other animals) going to the gambling boats and ballroom dancing.
She is survived by her daughter Theresa (Larry) Gazda of Palm Coast and three grandchildren: Jennifer (Steve) DeHenes and Sabrina (Jeff) Maxfield of Indiana; and Nina Gazda of Palm Coast.
Also surviving are six great-grandchildren: Jeffory Nicholas Joshua Austin Braxton and Jaxson. A great-grand-daughter Alexia preceded Mary Ann in death.
Memorial donations may be made in Mary Ann's name to Volusia/Flagler Hospice (3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129). Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Condolences for the family may be directed to www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com
