Mary I. Jamalkowski age 84 of Ormond Beach passed away quietly after a short illness. A funeral mass in her honor will be held Thursday
September 18 2008; 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church Chapel with Fr. Bill Zamborsky officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday; Sept. 17 2008. 5-8PM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home 1423 Bellevue Ave Daytona Beach. Mrs. Jamalkowski was born Mary Kinney in Batavia NY. She dedicated many years as a nurse in a Psychiatric Hospital and was later a devoted homemaker wife mother grandmother and a great cook. She came to Florida after her husband's retirement and settled into Ormond Beach. Mary celebrated each day and blessed us all with her inspirational love of life. She was a proud member of Prince of Peace catholic Church and enjoyed spending much time at the YMCA shopping and socializing with her friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Henry Jamalkowski and leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 children; Ronald Jamalkowski and June (Harold) Pehta both of New York 4 grandchildren: Mark Sheils Lori (Chris) Annesi James and Abby Jamalkowski and a great granddaughter Kailey Annesi.
