Mary B. Jacobs 93 of Port Orange passed away on July 10 2012. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday July 17 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:30 until the funeral at 11:00. Mary was born on January 22 1919 in Cape Canaveral to the late Bessie B. (Meyer) and Robert C. Burns. She was a graduate of Cocoa Beach High School and also Florida State College where she earned a Bachelors' degree in home economics. Mary was a devoted wife loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling the world and volunteering her time with many organizations. She was a member of the Eagles Post 4089 in Port Orange. Those left to cherish her memory are a son Joseph W. (Elizabeth) Mathers III; grandchildren Joseph W. (Cindy) Mathers IV Marcy (Lee) Holler Andrew W. (Diane) Mathers and five great grandchildren.
