She was also preceded in death by one sister Claudia Smith and one brother George Hazel. She did a lot of volunteer work for hospitals and churches. She loved the beach scene and making crafts.
She was very appreciative and loving of her family and people around her. She had a heart of gold.
Special message from her oldest Grandson Carl:
Meese was a loving Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great
Grandmother. If you were lucky enough to know my Grandmother, you experienced her friendship,
loving kindness and her generosity. Even with all the embarrassment I caused my family she always let
me know how much she loved me and all her family. She had such a beautiful heart and spirit.
She never missed a birthday card or Christmas card. I always looked forward to them, this year was hard
as for the first time in my life I won't be receiving any cards from her anymore. Life seems much lonelier
without her in my life and for the family. I miss our Sunday talks. I could say so many things about her
but if you knew her you knew someone so special. We love you and miss you Meese.
Condolences may be shared with the family here on our online guestbook.
