Mary Beth Hardt was born in Chicago, IL
to Henry Hardt and Christine Traut-Hardt
Nov 13 1946. She passed away Jan 12th, 2014 at
the Stuart-Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast,
FL with her daughters nearby. She is pre-deceased
by her 2nd husband James Davis, her parents, her
sister Christina Hardt, and Bess and Louis Rugero.
Mary was a great lover of animals and had many
furchildren, the most recent being her dog and
cat, Rocky and Morrison who both died last year.
Survivors include her daughters Eileen Reeger
of Palm Coast, Fl. Dianne Reeger of Tampa,
Fl, and granddaughter, Georgia Ensminger of
Orlando, Florida and friend/housemate Tony
Gil of Palm Coast, Fl. Also left behind are many
others, incl her best friends, cousin Kay Sinclair,
Il. and Mary Tirabassi, sister-in-law, Wi. Mary
Beth's "granddogs," Ophelia and Patrick, must be
mentioned as well or hauntings may occur. She
spent her childhood in Bull Shoals, AR and Lily
Lake, WI and placed 2nd in a beauty contest in
her late teens. She was an independent thinker,
forthright with her opinions, a notorious fan
of bright colors, with a great sense of a humor.
Mary's favorite music included artists like Elvis,
David Bowie and Adam Ant. A voracious reader,
she enjoyed spending time at the library and
stealing dr. office's magazines. Generous, honest
and very loving, she will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held privately on the
beach, where she loved to watch Rocky play in
the water. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to Florida Great Pyrenees Club or Wags &
Whiskers of St. Augustine, Fl
