Funeral Services for Mary Ann D. Costa age 80 of Ormond Beach FL who passed away on January 28 2010 will be Tuesday Feb. 2nd at 10am at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church (1000 Ocean Shore Boulevard Ormond Beach) with Fr. Queen officiating. Her family will receive friends on Monday Feb. 1st from 5-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond (733 W. Granada Blvd Ormond). Mary Ann was born April 23 1929 to William and Alice Gravel in Detroit Michigan. Mary Ann met and married Tony and relocated 43 years ago to Florida where they raised their two daughters. She was a long time member of St Brendan Catholic Church and was known for her love of traveling as well as her love of animals. She was a wonderful wife mother and friend and will be greatly missed and always remembered in the hearts of those she touched. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years Tony Costa of Ormond Beach FL; her daughters Pat (Steve) Toncheff of Ormond Beach FL and Kathy (Rob) Pownall Jr. of Debary FL; her brother Dick (Joan) Gravel of Boaz AL and her three beloved grandchildren Kyle Corey and Matthew Pownall. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made in Mary Ann's memory to an animal charity of your choice in appreciation of Mary Ann's love of animals and generosity to various animal charities.
