Mary T. Cutillo, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was 93. Mary was born July 19th, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Angelina (Forte) Gallo.
In her earlier years, Mary worked as a clerk for the US Postal Service. While working 2 jobs she continued her college education for teaching, and received her bachelor's degree. She retired from the US Postal Service after 25 years, then worked as a librarian and substitute teacher. Mary loved her family most of all. She especially enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she wasn't caring for her family, she could be found caring for the beautiful flowers that she grew. In her leisure time Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed an occasional crossword puzzle and played cards. She was a devoted Catholic and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary. Mary also loved to travel and enjoyed talking about her life and family with others.
Mary is survived by her husband Angelo Cutillo; daughters, Carol Hooke and husband Andy, Jean Kuchenbrod and husband Joe; grandchildren, Christopher Hooke, Jessica Palmer and husband Chuck, Bryan Hooke and wife Christy, Joseph Kuchenbrod and wife Victoria, and Angelina Whitby and husband Brian; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Palmer, Olivia Palmer, Chas Palmer, Henry Hooke, Emily Hooke, Phillip Whitby, Joseph Whitby, Avery Kuchenbrod, and Joe Schadlich; sister Catherine Maloney and brother in-law Jack, and brother in-law Len Bibbo.
Mary is preceded by her parents Joseph and Angelina Gallo, sister Yolanda Bibbo, and great-granddaughter Mckenzie Hooke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 1st at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida. Visitation will begin at noon and continue until the funeral Mass. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW, Florida 32137 - (386) 449-1100.
