Mary D. Craig, 72, a Daytona Beach resident passed away at her home on April 23, 2019. Mary was born
to Raymond and Dorothy Shaw on June 28, 1946 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. She later moved to
Prattsburgh, N.Y. where her and her husband, Bill, raised their family. They moved to the Daytona Beach
area in 1992 and Mary worked a few restaurant jobs before joining Sam's Club of Daytona Beach in
1999. Her career there would last over 20 years, and she truly enjoyed meeting and greeting her
customers and the many good times spent with her coworkers over the years; she will surely be missed.
Mary loved many things in life, but her true love was that of the time spent with her family, which also
included her pets. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Bill and her 2 daughters, Karen
Craig and Jeanette Fortier. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children: Scott
(Stephanie) Craig, Cheryl (Andy) Hill, Aaron (Darla) Craig, Jeff (Christine) Craig, Kenny (Iva) Craig, and DeeDee Carter, her 12
grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Boo. A Memorial Service honoring Mary's life
will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 3:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue
in Daytona Beach; the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm. Those who wish, may also share
