Mary A. Christian, 80, of Port Orange passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, January 27, 2014.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Epiphany Catholic Church, 201 Lafayette St, Port Orange, FL 32127.

Mary was born on December 6, 1933 in Saratoga, New York.

She worked actively with the Teamsters Union Local 294 in Albany, New York and retired after 33 years. She and her husband relocated to the Daytona Beach area in 1987. Mary was an active member of Epiphany Catholic Church for 20 years and served on the Eucharist Board. She was active with many charitable foundations.

She was also a member of the Port Orange Travel Club, and the Elk Hearts.

Mary enjoyed reading, travel, and working out at the local YMCA.

Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Alfred Gephert, Henry Gephert, Kay Martel, and Rita Tessier.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Alfred J. Christian; children, Kathy (David) Trivilino, Alfred J. (Amanda) Christian; grandson, Sean Christian; and many extended family members.
