Mary Pauline Carson , affectionately known as "Polly", 94, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Saturday August 3, 2019 peacefully with her family at her side.  She was born in Newton, New Jersey on February 21, 1925 to the late Wilfred and Mary (née Coutts) Langston, however she lived the majority of her life in Upper Brookville, Long Island, New York.  She retired as a Technical Illustrator and then moved to the Palm Coast area.

She loved animals of all sorts and especially enjoyed watching her girls showing their horses, which ended up being a family business.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Hiram H. Carson, on May 15, 2001.

She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law's, Pamela M.  Howe (Duane A. Howe) and Elizabeth O'Grady (David Hertwick) all of Palm Coast, Florida; four Grandchildren, Meridith  (Kevin) Harding of Ridge, New York, Christopher (Rachel) Oswald of Sedaliaq, Colorado, John O'Grady of Huntington, New York, and Thomas O'Grady of Tallahassee, Florida;  two Great-Grandchildren: Hiram and Olivia Oswald, and also her sister, Nancy Kaiser, of Arizona.
