Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Krausman (née Bruffey), 99, died on 14 January 2023 at her home in Ormond Beach, Florida with her daughters at her side.  She was born on 23 November 1923, graduated from Anacostia High School and received an Associate of Arts degree from George Washington University, Washington, D. C.  Betty married Ernst Otto Krausman on 24 July 1943.  She and the family traveled with Ernst for his job with the United States Aid for International Development and lived in Egypt, Libya, Italy, Tunisia, and Afghanistan before retiring to Ormond Beach.  Betty excelled in all she did: teaching, art, conversation, cooking, community service, bridge, church activities, and as a wife and mother.  She lived a complete and beautiful life.  Betty has now completed her baptismal journey and is in the bosom of her Lord.

She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, her oldest daughter, Jeanne Stahl Wendt, and is survived by four children: Paul R. Krausman (Carol), Kathy L. Lineberger (Jim), Ruth Anne Bethea (Bill), Ernest W. Krausman (Vicki), 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1205 Ridgewood Avenue, 21 January 2023 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Trinity Lutheran Church or Camp Linn Haven (P.
