Mary Arsenault,61, of Ormond Beach, Florida, died at home, surrounded by her loving family on March 11 th, 2023 after a short illness.  Mary attended Catholic Schools and graduated from Mercy High School, class of 1979.  After High School, Mary became an LPN, and worked for the Veterans Administration and retired from CT Valley Hospital, where she worked on the STAR Program.  Mary cared deeply for the women she help to achieve soberity.  She took her job seriously and gave 100% to the people she served.

Mary was a caregiver inside and outside of her job.  Mary would help anyone in need.  She volunteered her time to helping people and also taking in stray animals.  Animals were a big part of her life.  Mary loved unconditionally to both humans and her furry friends.  Mary was the kindness person anyone knew.  Mary had so many friends for life and took friendships to heart.  She was always there when needed.  Mary loved music and she was a faithful fan to Bruce Springsteen.  Mary also loved to shop and was a collector of many things.

Mary is survived by her loving partner, Donna Brautigam, her sister, Suzanne Arsenault.  Her in-laws, Gail Boutin, Elaine Main, and Dawn Charbronnier, who were extremely helpful with their love and support during Mary's illness.  Her aunts, Evelyn Maher, Alice Cram and Katherine Zarzabek, and her beloved dogs, Blondie and Bennie.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Estelle and Armand Arsenault and her sister Kathleen Proulx.

Service will be April 14h, 2023 at 10am at St. Mary Church, 51 Freestone Avenue, Portland, CT .
