Funeral Services for Martha G. Moore age 78 of Ormond Beach who passed away on December 2 at her home will be held on Thursday December 11 at 10:30 am at Ormond Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday December 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Ormond Funeral Home.

Martha was born in Georgia but was a lifelong resident of Volusia County. She was one of the original switchboard operators for the News Journal. She was the first ER nurse for the Florida Health Care Plan where she worked for 22 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and a member for 57 years of the Order of the Eastern Star. Martha enjoyed traveling cooking fishing and crabbing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving son William T. Tiger Moore; her loving daughter Molly Moore both of Ormond Beach; her sister Melba Brannum of Bunnell; and 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Martha?s name to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32127.
