Martha Jane McCusker passed away peacefully August 15 2010 after a brief but courageous struggle with lung cancer at Stuart B. Meyer Hospice in Palm Coast Florida. She was 81 years old born in Fort Morgan Colorado on June 3 1929 daughter of Irwin Robison and Esther Miller Robison. Left to cherish her memories are her sons Jeffrey B. McCusker his wife Odontuya Purevsanga and their daughter Sara of Lorton VA; her son Eric J. McCusker and his two children Liam and Sydney of Portland ME; her sister June Monahan of Flagler Beach FL and her four children Pat Joe Paul and Jane. Jane McCusker and her former husband Joseph A. McCusker raised their two sons in Scituate Massachusetts where she also began a career in the advertising industry which continued until she moved to Flagler Beach in 1994 to enjoy retirement with her sister June. The two sisters enjoyed traveling trips to the casinos and spending time on the beach with family and friends. Jane volunteered at the Flagler Beach Public Library where she developed lasting friendships. Jane expressly requested that there be no funeral or memorial service as she wanted all who knew her to remember her as they last saw her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stuart B.
