Martha Borden age 85 of Port Orange passed away on Tuesday April 3rd 2012. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 14th 2012 at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach 118 N. Palmetto Avenue Daytona Beach. Martha was born on April 11th 1926 in St. Petersburg Florida.

Martha and her husband relocated to the Daytona Beach area in 1946 to begin their family. Martha's true calling in life was nurturing and caring for children. Martha taught Sunday school for over 60 years the past 28 years at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach. She enjoyed crocheting and a nice cold glass of orange juice. Martha was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was known by many names; Mom Granny Mammaw Aunt Martha and Mrs. Martha.

Survivors include her children sons Clinton (Penny) Borden Charles Borden Jr Jeffrey (Julie) Borden; daughter Sandra Borden; Grandchildren Stephanie Michelle (Michael) Celeste Marie Clinton Cindy (Jonathan) Christine Cory Jason Jean Ann (Michael); Great-Grandchildren Jennifer Alycia Jonathan Michael Justin Haley Kylie Khaytelynn Zachary Trinity AshleyMay Abigale Austin; Great Great- Grandson Trenton; and honorary grandchildren Danielle and Ashley Baldwin. Martha is preceded in death by her parents Blanche and T.H Humphries six siblings her beloved husband of 54 years Charles Borden Sr son Larry Borden and her great grandsons Brian and Ryan Borden and Shaughn Bogart.
