Marshall "Marsh" Patrick Tocco, 69, of Ormond Beach, Florida, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, July 13 2016.

Marshall was born September 23, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio to Tony and Louise Tocco. He played football and basketball for Cardinal Mooney High School and graduated in 1964, then attended Youngstown State University. He proudly served as a Fire Control Technician (Missile Guidance Systems Seaman) in the US Navy on board the USS Laffey where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon and the Navy's Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1973 and moved to Florida that same year. A place where he could golf year round!

In his life, Marshall was NO DOUBT the life of the party and made countless friends while he vivaciously tended bar throughout the 70's at various Daytona Beach lounges before he himself became the successful owner of Marsh -n- Al's Lounge and Yesterday's Restaurant and Bar. At 44, he decided to switch careers completely and become a law enforcement officer with the Volusia County Division of Corrections, to which he retired from in 2008 with a life saving award and was highly regarded by his peers and superiors.

His motto was "Family Is Everything" and he truly lived that out everyday!

This Italian "Daddy", "Grandpa", "Father-In-law", "Motorcycle Enthusiast", "Football Fanatic", "Jack of all Trades", "Family Man" and "Ladies Man" will be dearly missed!

Marshall is survived by his Daughters: Laurie Marie Ahola of Holly Hill, FL, Christina Louise Tocco of Holly Hill, FL, and Marissa Day Smith and her husband Wayne of Ormond Beach, FL; 4 Grandchildren: Sophia, Landon, Logan and Sebastian; his Brother: Dr. Anthony Tocco of Daytona Beach, FL; as well as nephews, extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and sister-in-law Danielle Tocco.

A Celebration of Life service and gathering will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, July 30 at Lohman's Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL.
