Obituary

Marlene H. Kramer was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday March 3 2009. Born in Sherman NY an only child she resided most of her life in the Buffalo NY area. Along with her husband of 57 years Albert Marlene was a snowbird' for the last 25 years spending her winters in both Orlando and Port Orange. She is survived by her husband Albert H. her daughters Pamela Gibbs and Kim Lavery her son-in-law Greg Gibbs grandchildren Kristen and Kirt Gibbs sister-in-law Theresa Vogle and numerous nieces nephews and cousins. Marlene was an avid reader and an accomplished homemaker and cook. Her sewing capabilities ranged from stitching toys and doll clothes to producing her children's wardrobes. Being kind and generous Marlene often assisted with organizations that aided the poor and underprivileged. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star. Marlene had many dear friends who loved her not only for her kindness and compassion but also for her sense of humor and quick wit. An animal lover Marlene is missed by her dog and buddy Alvin. She also enjoyed shopping and had a sharp eye for bargains. Marlene was a sympathetic listener lending an ear whenever needed. She was an active member of The Maplewood Estate Community. Marlene will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Donations may be made in her name to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 120 Wall St. 19th Floor NY NY 10005.
