Mark D. Stickney 43 a long-time resident of Daytona Beach passed away on March 27 2010 after a long battle with cancer. He attended Spruce Creek High School in the early 80's followed by a long career as a framer with Pipkins Framing Inc. in South Daytona. Some of Mark's favorite past times were fishing and dirt bike riding however his greatest passion was watching NASCAR; his favorite driver #39 Ryan Newman. He will be remembered most as being a warm caring kind and compassionate man. He will be dearly missed by his family as well as his many close friends. Left to cherish his memory are is children Adam and Chad Stickney of Kentucky; mother Shirley Stickney of Daytona; twin sister Beth Stickney of Daytona; step-brothers Don Stickney of Daytona and Ken Stickney of Edgewater; aunts Virginia Morrison of Silver Springs Maryland Phyllis Shumway of Clearfield Utah Marlene Hurst of Daytona; uncles Richard Hurst of Vestavia Hills Alabama Larry Hurst of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio; nephew Tyler D. Stickney and many close friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
