Obituary

Mark Scott Ouellette 73, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Feb. 11, 2025 after a lengthy battle with Occupational Cancer. Mark is preceded in death by his father Henry, mother Khay, brother Jerry, son Shane and sister in law Cheryl Smith.

Mark is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Jenna, Grandson Duncan, nephew David Mason Smith, wife Tana, daughters Rae and Lanie, sons Cody and Gabe, nephew Ryan, wife Kirsten, daughter Kailee, sons Aiden and Jude, nephew Scott, wife Yvonne, daughters Chastity and Desiree and Charity, Pat and Larissa White, The Eric, Ryan and Charlotte Meyers, Tyler Smith, Mary and Rick  Riviera Country Club, Anita and Irving Brown, Jeff Haney , Rhonda, Danielle and Sol Detmer, Danny, Louise and Little Danny Burke, Todd and Norma Buchannan, Anthony and Cris Mejia, Rusty and Louise Bridle, Jed Carpentier, Ron Glass, Walter Dix, Alex Forest, General President Edward Kelly and Secretary President Frank Lima of the IAFF., Hampton Firefighters Local 2664, PFFNH and all the members of the International Association of Firefighters as well as many friends, neighbors and the " Dog Park Group."

Mark loved adventures of any kind with his family, and was an avid golfer, as well as a proud member of the Hampton firefighters, PFFNH and Eastern Trustee for the International Association of Firefighters. Mark wasn't just a Union leader, he was a brother, mentor, friend and never-ending story teller. Mark dedicated his life to fighting for justice on behalf of all firefighters. Mark dedicated nearly 50 years to the Union. His accomplishments are far too many to list, but what defined him was his class, dignity and loyalty.

As we mourn his passing, let's honor his incredible legacy by celebrating the ways he touched our lives.
