Mark Joseph Omran, 71 of Deltona, FL passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2026.

He was born on May 4, 1954 in Buffalo, New York to Joseph and Lilly Omran. At a young age, his family relocated to Jacksonville, FL where he would meet his wife, Jean. Mark built a successful career with Walmart as a long time store manager before retiring in 2016. He was known for his little notepad in his front shirt pocket, incredible work ethic living by the motto if “anything is worth doing, its worth doing well,” his seasonal neck ties, patriotic T-shirts and cargo shorts and his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark spent his retirement spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Jake and Daisy, detailing his car, gardening, grilling and any project around the house. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he loved hearing about all of their adventures.

Mark is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean, his son Mark (and his wife Heather), and his grandchildren: Mark III, who is also known as, “Trey”, Victoria, Isaac and Prestyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Leila and daughter Amanda.
