Mark E. Burgess 78 of New Smyrna Beach passed away August 18 2008 after a brief illness. A service is planned for a later date. Mr. Burgess retired from Comerica Bank Detroit as a Vice President moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1992. He enjoyed tennis golf and pottery. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years Diana; and three sons: Mark E. Burgess Jr. of Coldwater Michigan Matthew and Kelly Burgess of Rochester Michigan and David and Jerrilyn Burgess of Mamaroneck New York; three grandchildren: Evan Caitlin and Cullen Burgess; and his special friends Toomba and Mango. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
