Marjorie H. Harris, 94, a resident of Ormond Beach, Fl., and a long - time resident of Port Orange, passed away on Saturday, June 9 ^th 2018. Marjorie was born to Horace and Florence Nelson on December 1, 1923 in Toronto, Canada. After residing in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Marjorie and her husband, Leonard, moved to Florida, settling in Port Orange, which Marjorie would call home for the next 72 years. She truly enjoyed fishing, knitting and volunteering at her church. Marjorie was employed by the city of Ormond Beach, working in the accounting department for their utilities division before her retirement following a 23 year career. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leonard. She leaves behind her son Gregory and his wife Kay. A funeral service will be held for Marjorie on Monday, June 18 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona at 2pm. Visitors are welcome beginning one hour prior to service.
