Funeral Services for Marion T. Zimmerman age 87 who passed away on Tuesday May 17th at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange FL will be on Friday May 20th at 12:30 pm at Temple Beth-El Synagogue with Rabbi Barry Altman officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Sinai cemetery in Daytona Beach FL. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Queens NY and grew up on Long Island. She and her family relocated to Palm Beach Gardens FL and in 1990 she moved to Ormond Beach FL. Throughout her life Marion enjoyed many varied and interesting careers especially her last career as a teacher?s aide which she started while in her eighties and pursued up until months before her passing. She traveled extensively and was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband Meyer Zimmerman seven years ago. Marion is survived by her son Dr. Evan Feist of Ormond Beach FL her two grandchildren Dara Helgemo of Ft. Collins CO and Michael Feist of Philadelphia PA; her great granddaughter Amanda Helgemo her brother Philip Mundel of West Palm Beach FL her two sisters Millie Harris of Longwood FL and Cybil Friedman of Hollywood FL.
