Marion E. Norris of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully on October 22, 2015. She had recently celebrated her 93rd birthday.

Marion was born on September 24, 1922 in Derby, Connecticut to George and Marion Brennan. She grew up in the Milford, Connecticut area and briefly worked for General Electric where she met her future husband and life-long best friend, John W. Norris, better known as Jack. They married in 1944 and were committed to each other for 62 years. They raised their family in four states finally settling in Ridgefield, CT, where they lived for 18 years. Upon Jack's retirement from GE they relocated to Palm Coast, Florida.

Marion was an avid golfer at Pine Lakes and briefly volunteered for Friends of the Flagler County Library.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband, Jack and her brother George. She leaves behind her daughter, Jennifer Nicastro, of Northbrook, IL, and her sons Gary (Patty), of Loveland, OH, Jeffrey (Beverly) of Stow, OH, John (Joe) of Chicago, IL, and Patrick, of Orlando, FL. She is also a grandmother of 12, a great-grandmother of 12 and has several nephews and nieces.

The family wants to thank the residents and staff at the Windsor of Palm Coast, Marion's home for the past 5 years, for their friendship and kindness, and the staff of Vitas Healthcare for their watchful eye, compassion and loving care.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 5 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Friends will Be greeted at the church starting at
9am with Mass beginning 10 am.
