Marion Bradley 72 of Palm Coast was taken home by the Lord Sunday Oct. 18 2009 in Jacksonville with her husband by her side. The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home from 6-9 Friday with another visitation from 2:30-3PM on Sunday at the Palm Coast Praise Church 3601 East Moody Blvd. (Hwy 100) followed by a funeral service at 3PM. She was a nurse in the California Penal System at the California. Medical Facility in Vacaville where she met George Bradley a corrections officer whom she married and was together with for 22 years. In 2004 they retired from there and moved to Palm Coast. She was an amateur florist a second parent for her grandchildren and very involved as a volunteer in her church. She was very compassionate and she and her husband took numerous mission trips around the world to such places as Calcutta Fiji Trinidad and the Dominican Republic. With George being a former Marine they were active in the Marine Corps League and the Marine Corps Association. She will be dearly missed by those who survive her Husband George known to her as Bradley son James Haskett (Kimberly) of Pottsville Pa. daughters Norma Jean Browning of Palm Coast Renee Jean Browning her five step daughters Bridgette Toni Myava Georgette and Shanicka sister Dorothy Leffingwell of Sacramento Ca. 11 other
grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and all those whose lives she touched around the world.
