Marilyn Lauzon, 70, of Ocala and a former resident of Ormond Beach, passed away on February 20, 2017 at her residence in Ocala. She was born on December 17, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Ellen Moe. Marilyn graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters in Accounting. She retired as a Certified Public Accountant. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #2193 in Ormond Beach where she was heavily involved as the treasurer and as the Chaplain. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Post # 3800(Ormond) and #4435(Ormond Beachside) as well as the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Ormond Beach. Marilyn loved her friends and loved being the life of the party. She absolutely loved the social life. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Jacques; two daughters, Michelle Lauzon of Ormond Beach and Nicole Lauzon of Fort Lauderdale; brother, Timothy Moe; and two grandchildren, Kristopher Lauzon and Jessica Lyons of Ormond Beach. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday February 25, 2017 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. A Celebration of her Life will be held from 3:30pm til 5:30pm at The Elks Lodge, 285 Wilmette Avenue, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
