Marilyn Harrell Heck, 72, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 4th, surrounded by her loving family.

A devoted Christian and lifelong public servant, Marilyn dedicated her career to the Department of Juvenile Justice, where she made a lasting impact, helping to rehabilitate and guide thousands of young people toward brighter futures. She was known for her beautiful singing voice, her unwavering faith, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Marilyn found joy in the simple things in life and was especially passionate about decorating for Christmas, creating elaborate displays to celebrate the birth of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce; her sons, Gregory and Lance, and their wives; as well as her six cherished grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at Providence Church (located at the end of Hidden Hills Drive & Granada) on Wednesday, April 16th, at 11:00 AM. Marilyn will be laid to rest at the Antioch Cemetery, near her childhood home in Alachua, on Thursday, April 17th, at 11:00 AM.

Her legacy of love, faith, and service will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
