Marilyn Heagerty Dann age 71 of Deland passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday January 13 2011. A memorial service in her honor is planed for a later date in New York please contact the funeral home for further information. Marilyn was born in Oswego New York to Raymond and Marion Heagerty. She studied nursing but went to work for Marine Midland Bank starting as a teller worked through promotions to become the 1st female manager of the commercial loan department. She then moved to Wilmington NC taking a job with the Coca Cola Co. developing and managing their computer department. She was a unique organized accomplished woman of many talents who enjoyed computers was an avid reader and political advocate. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband William Dann a son Mark Graziano 2 sisters Joyce (Thomas) Tovey and Diane (Joseph) Osetek a brother: William Heagerty and several extended loving family and friends.
