Mariette Therese Perrott of John Anderson Dr. Ormond Beach a native of Lonqueuil Quebec Canada passed away peacefully at home Sunday with her devoted family by her side. While growing up in Canada she studied and became a concert pianist. Mrs. Perrott moved to Washington DC where she lived from 1945 until 1949 where she served as secretary to the Ambassador of France. Between 1946 and 1949 she also played the piano on the radio. In 1949 while in Washington she met and married her husband the late Samuel R. Perrott who predeceased her in 1994. They relocated to Ft. Lauderdale where they began working at Wm. Thies & Sons and started their family. In 1962 Mr. & Mrs. Perrott moved to Ormond Beach when they were given the opportunity to obtain the distribution rights from Miller Brewing Company for Volusia and Flagler Counties serving an estimated 1 500 accounts. She was co-founder of S.R. Perrott Inc. Ormond Beach as well as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer. In 1998 the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce named her ?Citizen of Year?. Mrs. Perrott was an avid reader and music lover. Her other interests included playing the piano for friends and family and weekly bridge games with friends as well as doting on her five grandchildren. She had been a member of Oceanside Country Club since 1982. Mrs. Perrott was a devote Catholic and parishioner of St. Brendan?s Catholic Church Ormond Beach. She was a supporter of the London Symphony Orchestra the Daytona Beach Symphony Guild the American Cancer Society Easter Seals Society and the Father Lopez High School Tennis Team.

Survivors include three daughters Michele P. Connors Denise Weeks and Madeleine Perrott as well as four granddaughters Stephanie Eva Sara and Colleen and one grandson Dennis all of Ormond Beach.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church 1000 Oceanshore Blvd. Ormond Beach FL on Friday March 26 2004 at 2pm with Fr. Ryan officiating. Due to the Lenten season we respectfully decline any floral arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to one of the following: American Cancer Society 146 Orange Ave. Daytona Beach FL 32114; Easter Seals 1219 Dunn Ave. Daytona Beach FL 32114; or the Father Lopez Scholarship Fund 960 Madison Ave. Daytona Beach Fl 32114.
