Marie was raised with a strong work ethic and deep faith that guided her throughout her life.
Marie G. Marseille, of Deltona, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026. She was 65 years old.
Born in Saint-Marc, Haiti, Marie was raised with a strong work ethic and deep faith that guided her throughout her life. She completed her high school education and attended college in Haiti before beginning a new chapter in the United States. In 2000, she moved from Haiti to Deltona, where she built a life centered on family, faith, service, and hard work.
Marie was employed as a sous chef in the cafeteria at Master's Academy in Oviedo. She took great pride in her work and was known for her dedication, kindness, and willingness to help others. Her strong work ethic and caring spirit touched the lives of many students and colleagues throughout the years.
Faith was at the center of Marie's life. She was a devoted member of Volusia Baptist Church for 15 years before transferring her membership to Deltona Alliance Church, where she remained actively involved in numerous ministries. She faithfully assisted with Bible studies, volunteered at church luncheons, and provided encouragement and support to young mothers within the congregation. Her servant's heart, warm smile, and compassionate nature made a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sen Marseille, who passed away in January 2012.
She built a life centered on family, faith, service, and hard work.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory and miss her dearly, including her son, Pascal Marseille of Deltona; her daughter, Darnelle Marseille of Deltona; and her sister, Betty Courtois of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, fellow church members, and all whose lives were enriched by her kindness and faith.
A memorial service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at Deltona Alliance Church. The day and time are pending confirmation.
Condolences, cherished memories, and photos may be shared with the family through the online guest book. Marie's legacy of faith, service, perseverance, and love will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
