Graveside Services for Marie L. Eikenberry age 87 who passed away Monday November 8 2004 at her daughter?s home will be on Friday November 12 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Daytona Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Bebe officiating.

Marie was born December 3 1916 to Emile and Hannah Kirman in Jersey City New Jersey.She Moved here in 1959 from Ft. Lenard Missouri. She was a member of the V.F.W. in Daytona Beach and the American Legion Post# 120 of Holly Hill. She was a Army Veteran serving in WWII. Her rank was a registered nurse and a captain with the U.S. Army for 9 years. Marie received the American Campaign Medal the American Defense Service Medal WWII Victory Medal Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star.Marie graduated from Nursing School in 1938. She was a registered nurse with Halifax Medical Center in 1959 and retired in 1980.

Marie is Predeceased by Husband Robert W. Eikenberry Son Robert W. Eikenberry in 1995. Sisters Hannah Spindler and Lillian Moore.

She is survived by Daughter as well as caregiver for 22yrs. Betty A. SchoenherrRalph G. Schoenherr South Daytona Fl; Sister in-law Paula Maas; Grandchildren Stacy M. McDaniel Cathy Eikenberry Robert Eikenberry.
