Marie Florence Cliggett of 21 Sunnyshore Drive, Ormond By The Sea, FL died, December 25, 2014 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Florida. A Memorial service in her honor will be held on Thursday, January 22nd at 11:30 a.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.

Marie was born April 15, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Harry & Lena (Senior) Ziegler. She married Robert Cliggett in 1946 and had a daughter Linda. Both of whom have preceded her in death.

She worked for the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania from 1945 to 1946 and American Telephone and Telegraph Company from 1953 to 1966 returning back to Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania until her retirement in 1991. She was an active member of the volunteer network "Pioneers" founded in 1911 as the Telephone Pioneers of America. The largest industry-related organization in the world dedicated to service.

She lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; a great friend to many and enjoyed spending time with family, nieces and nephews who will always carry the memory of her in their heart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AT&T Pioneers, Florida Chapter 39.
