Marie Ann Annesi of Port Orange, Florida passed away on June 6, 2014, at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. She was born in Nashville, Georgia on February 2, 1944 to Flora and Charles Richardson.

Marie lived in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana throughout her life. She moved back to Florida in 1988 where she was employed as a Branch Manager for Citi Financial Services in South Daytona, FL until her retirement. Afterward, she was a volunteer for Hospice of Volusia County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Annesi, Mother, Flora Richardson, Father, Charles Richardson, and Brother, Bobby Richardson. She was a devoted mother to her children: Donna McCrocklin, daughter, Eustis, FL, William "Bill" E. Freeman, Port Orange, FL, Charles "David" Freeman, Daytona Beach, FL, Robert "Rob" Annesi, Daytona Beach, FL, and Vincent "Vince" Annesi, Daytona Beach, FL, and several step children. Her passion in life were her grandchildren of which she adored: Brianna Ryan, Eustis, FL, Gabrielle Freeman, Palm Coast, FL, Breeanna Annesi, Daytona Beach, FL, Shawn Annesi, Port Orange, FL, and Rachel Annesi, Port Orange, FL. She was a loving and devoted sister to her brothers: Charles Richardson, Archer, FL, and Joe Richardson, Tallahassee, FL.

Marie was known by relatives and friends as a very compassionate, respectful, and caring person who always had a friendly smile.

Services will be held at Lohman Funeral Home located at 935 E. New York Avenue, Deland, Florida on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at 12:00 noon Visitation for Marie will be from 11 am to 12pm. Officiating will be Pastor Ronnie Barton of First Baptist of South Daytona. A private visitation for family will be provided at 10:00 am. Visitation for friends will be held at 11:00am. Following, she will be laid to rest at Deland Memorial Gardens, 600 E. Beresford Avenue, Deland, FL.
