Marie Accomando, born on August 15, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 22, 2026, in Flagler County.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Marie later moved to Long Island, carrying with her the warmth, strength, and deep love of family that would remain at the center of her life. She worked in the school system for 25 years as a nutrition services associate, a role through which she gave steady care and service to others over many years.

Marie found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She enjoyed cruises, was a proud member of the Italian American Club, and was especially known for her love of cooking and baking. Christmas was her favorite holiday, a reflection of the warmth and togetherness she treasured so deeply. Above all, Marie loved her family, and that love was the heart of who she was.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Accomando and Lori Accomando, who were a cherished part of her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Nickie Coppola and Susie Corrado; her nephew, Robert Coppola; and her niece, Christine Sherlock. Each of them carries forward the memory of Marie’s love, her caring spirit, and the special place she held in their lives.

Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Margie Iacono.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW, Palm Coast, FL 32137.

Marie Accomando will be remembered with love for her devotion to family, her generous heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew and loved her.
