Marianne Seaman, 79, a loving wife mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on May 19, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Marianne will be laid to rest on Friday at Jacksonville National Cemetery.

Marianne was born in New York City on September 22, 1933 to parents Mary and Edward Hartnett. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from C.W. Post University on Long Island with a master's degree in medical biology. She applied her academic accomplishments to a successful career in medical laboratory management. In 1954, she married Robert Seaman with whom she raised three daughters: Karen, Mary Beth, and Vickie. In 1993, Marianne and Robert relocated from Long Island N.Y to Florida. Marianne lived her life in pursuit of her numerous interests and passions. Her family will affectionately remember her beautiful watercolor paintings and her steadfast devotion to her life as a wife mother and grandmother. She was especially proud of her three grandchildren.

Those left to cherish their memories of the lovely Marianne are her beloved husband of 59 years Robert; loving daughters: Karen (Mike), Mary Beth (Wayne), and Vickie (Kevin); and adoring grandchildren: Ashley, Patrick, and Caroline. Arrangements are under the compassionate direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
