Marian Antoni Skibinski, age 91 of Port Orange, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 18, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32129. Interment will follow the service at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Marian was born on January 25, 1922 to the late Zofii & Jozefa Skibinski in Obrzycko Poland. He served in the Polish Army with the combat engineers in Africa; Monte Casino Italy and in England during World War II. Marian was married in Paris in 1948 to the late Francine Skibinski. They lived in many different countries before relocating to Florida. Mr. Skibinski owned and operated the Sea Scape Hotel and Beau Rivage Hotel in Daytona Beach. He also owned a plumbing company in Melbourne, Australia and Chicago, Illinois.
