A Memorial Service for Maria Toth age 84 of Stewart Ave. Port Orange FL. will be held Monday May 22 2006 at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Family will receive friends at 11:00 AM in the chapel a service will follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Emese Asztalos of the First Presbyterian Church Daytona Beach Celebrant. Mrs. Toth passed away at her home on May 12 2006. Born on May 11 1922 in Budapest Hungary she married Imre Toth in 1962 and spent 43 years sharing her life with him. They moved to Connecticut in 1974 from Hungary then to Florida in 1980. Together they owned and operated The Holly House Motel in 1980 until retiring in 1989. Maria loved to cook Hungarian foods and enjoyed serving it to her friends. She also liked to sing and dance in her native Hungarian. She belonged to the Hungarian-American club in Holly Hill and Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Daytona Beach.
She is survived by her husband Imre Toth and many many friends including her care-giver Ilona Szabo of Port Orange.
