Maria (Pelliccioni) Guidi, 93, of Stormville, NY, died on Jan. 16, 2015 in Ormond Beach, Fl. at the Seaside Manor Assisted Living Facility where she recently moved. At the time of her death she was accompanied by her 3 loving children.

Maria was born in Coriano (Forli), Italy on August 23, 1921, daughter of the late Modesta Tura and Angelo Pelliccioni. In 1942 she married the love of her life, Guerrino Guidi (pre-deceased, 1989) of Acquaviva, San Marino. Maria and Guerrino had 3 children and by 1952 the family moved to the US and lived in Croton Falls, NY for many years.

Maria was one of 6 children. She is survived by 2 siblings: Ada Stefanelli of Citta', San Marino & Olga Giavolucci of Riccione (Forli), Italy; her 3 children: Pier Valeriano Guidi & wife Patricia of Hillsborough, NJ, Ilario (Larry) Guidi & wife Patricia of Palm Coast, FL, and Elena Dragomani & husband Allan of Stormville, NY; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren - all whom she adored and in turn loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held at the Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY on Sat. Jan. 24, 2015 at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at the St. James the Apostle Church, 16 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY. Interment will follow the mass (weather permitting) at Saint Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Turk Hill Road & Rt. 22, Brewster, NY, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.

In lieu of flowers, family members suggest donations to a favorite charity in Maria's name. Florida arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
