Margaret Harriet Vohlers, 100 of Palm Coast Florida, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025. Margaret was born in Lucas, Ohio on November 30, 1924 to Fred and Gretchen Schmitt.

Margaret grew up on a farm with her brothers, Robert and Edward Schmitt. She was a loving sister, daughter, and niece to her many enduring family members. Margaret was an excellent student, graduating High School with honors. She attended Ohio State University where she met her future husband, A. Joseph Vohlers. After graduation, Margaret married her soulmate and best friend, Joseph. They raised four children with unconditional love and support through 62 years of marriage until Joseph passed away on July 13, 2010.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Bleyl (Gregory, deceased); son William E. Vohlers (Hillary); nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and other extended family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, A. Joseph Vohlers; son, Fredric Vohlers (Dianne, deceased); son, Robert Vohlers (Martha); and grandson, Joe Vohlers.

Services have been privately held. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
