Margaret Rose
Talluto
July 14, 1935 – February 8, 2024
Margaret Rose Talluto, 88, of Port Orange, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024 with family by her side. She was born July 14, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Guisseppe and Mary Finazzo. Marge married the love of her life, Ben Talluto, on September 4, 1955. In 1960 they moved to Port Orange, Florida and raised their four children. In 1977, she returned to school earning a degree in Nursing at Daytona Beach Community College. Marge loved the beach, dancing, music, the St. Louis Cardinals, cooking amazing Sicilian meals during the holidays, playing cards and politics.
However nothing ever compared to her desire of always being a faithful servant of the Lord. Marge was one of the founding families for the groundbreaking of the Catholic Church of Epiphany where she and her family attended. She was received into the Lay Carmelite Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on November 6, 1996 and participated with great devotion in the Perpetual Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Marge is preceded in death by her husband Benedict Talluto, and is survived by her four children Flora (Russ) Irvin, Salvatore (Sandy) Talluto, Joseph Talluto and Mary (DaLynn) Talluto as well as her her sisters Frances (Frank) Buffa, Rosemary (Wayne) Finkenbuerger and brother Frank (Renate) Finazzo. She was Blessed with four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with an eighth on the way, as well as multiple nieces and nephews. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany located at 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, Florida. Interment will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach. Condolences may be shared with the family here on our online guestbook (at www.lohmanfuneralhome.com ).
